Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran Movie Review:
The story of the film begins from 1995 when talks about China’s nuclear test in the Prime Minister’s Office were going on. At that time, IAS officer Ashwate Raina (John Abraham) advised India to become a nuclear power. For some reasons, his point was reached to the Prime Minister, but the trial was not successful and the US intervened. After this Ashwat Raina was sacked from his post.
Ashwat’s family also has his wife Sushma (Anuja Sathe), parents and a son Prahlada. After some time, the family of Ashwat is shifted to Mussoorie and after about 3 years when the entry of Himanshu Shukla (Boman Irani) as the Prime Minister’s secretary, once again the matter of nuclear testing starts. Himanshu immediately searches for Ashwat and asks for a team to prepare for the nuclear test.
Ashwat composes the team accordingly, including Bark, DRDO, Army as well as people of space sciences and intelligence. Once again, there is a preparation for a nuclear test in 1998, which is considered to be the most notorious of the earrings in the United States. In the meantime, the presence of the US and Pakistan’s spies in India also gives careful consideration to how this test can be failed. Ultimately, in spite of all these odd conditions, India appears in front of everyone as nuclear power and it appears in the form of a big power that is shown in the film.
